ABOUT VALENCIA

Valencia is the capital of the autonomous community of Valencia and lies on Spain's eastern Mediterranean coast, on the Gulf of Valencia at the mouth of the Turia River. The city is 350 km from either Madrid to the west, or Barcelona to the north, and the third largest city in Spain after the above-mentioned cities, with around 809,000 inhabitants in the administrative centre.

The Port of Valencia is the 5th busiest container port in Europe and the largest on the Mediterranean Sea.
